Mars Bars

Today was my second consecutive sick day of the 2010-2011 cold/flu season. I say sick day with great (Apprehension? Hesitation? Consideration!) however, as I do not feel ill in any way, shape, or form. Apparently I looked "too pale for school this morning" - courtesy of Mams and Paps. Consequently, I have been so bored all day that I would rather go to AA English for ten hours non-stop than sit confined on my couch for one more minute. Anyway, disregarding that rant there, here are my thoughts for the day:

-Veronica Mars was one of the best shows primetime has ever seen. So much so that the person responsible for canceling it at the close of the third season, should be burned in effigy for all of Hollywood to see. (Unless of course he was on Percocet or otherwise when making the decision, which I assume he would have to be to cancel a show such as this one.) It has all the wit of Gilmore Girls with the crime fighting action of a Monk and Bones duo in the middle of a gang-riddled city of the ghetto. (Hypothetical pairing there of course, Temperance wouldn't do so well with someone as illogical as Adrian, hasn't he ever heard of the immune system?) I watched the entire last season on the love of my life the past two days, and am now stuck with an itch to solve a seemingly unsolvable mystery. Heard of any missing dogs lately?

-I have a new favorite word of the day. Chummy.
Chummy [chum-ee] - adjective, -mi-er, -mi-est Informal.
intimate; sociable; friendly

(Intimate? That's just what the internet tells me... I was going for more of a "congenial" feel)
Just for the way it sounds though - I have yet to use it in context. (ex. "Macey and Riley were busy chumming it up at the girl's basketball game")

-I officially know what cabin fever feels like.
